From PBA basketball and local boxing to international football and esports, y888 covers the sports that matter most to Filipino players — with live odds, pre-match markets, and all transactions handled in Philippine Peso.
About y888 Betting
Sports betting on y888 is built around the games and competitions that Filipino fans follow most closely. Whether you're watching a PBA game from Manila, catching a boxing match out of General Santos City, or following an international football fixture overnight, y888 gives you a straightforward way to place bets on the action — all from your phone or browser, and all settled in Philippine Peso.
The y888 betting section covers both pre-match and live in-play markets. Pre-match lets you browse upcoming fixtures, review the available odds, and place your bets before a game tips off or a match kicks off. Live in-play betting updates in real time as events unfold — odds shift with momentum, and you can place bets on the next score, the next set, or the match result while the action is happening.
y888 betting is designed around one account, one balance, and one currency. Your PHP funds work across every sport and every market on the platform — no separate wallets, no currency conversion, no extra steps between you and the bet you want to place.

Bet Types
y888 offers a range of bet types so you can approach each game in a way that fits your reading of the match. Whether you prefer keeping things simple with a straight win bet or combining selections across multiple games, the y888 betting section has the options to match your style.
The most straightforward bet type — pick the team or player you think will win the match outright. No point spreads, no conditions. Just back your selection and wait for the final result.
A handicap is applied to even out the competition between a favourite and an underdog. The favoured team gives up points; the underdog receives them. Common in basketball and football betting on y888.
Bet on whether the combined score in a game will go over or under a line set by the platform. Useful when you have a strong read on the pace of a game without being certain about which side will win.
Combine multiple selections into a single bet. All selections must win for the parlay to pay out, but the combined odds are multiplied — meaning higher potential returns from a smaller stake.
Place bets while a match is actively in progress. Odds update in real time based on the current score, time remaining, and momentum of play. Available on basketball, football, and select other sports.
Bet on specific in-game events rather than the overall match result. Examples include first team to score, player to reach a points milestone, or total number of sets in a volleyball match.

Why y888
There is no shortage of online sports betting options accessible from the Philippines, but most of them are built for a regional or global audience. y888 is built specifically for Filipino players — not just in terms of the sports covered, but in terms of how the platform actually works day to day.
A player in Quezon City and a player in Cebu City both get the same experience: stable mobile access, deposits and withdrawals handled in PHP through GCash, Maya, or local bank transfer, and a betting section that covers the sports they follow. There are no dollar conversions to worry about, no foreign payment intermediaries adding steps to a simple transaction, and no plugins required to load markets in your browser.
